Friends,
Some of you don't yet know that I am going to need a liver transplant in the future, but first I must loose tons of weight and stick to a low sodium diet. The hepatitis C has caused me to have (I can't spell it, but I will sound it out) Sir-rose-sis of the liver. They will also be checking for cancer every six months in my liver as well. I'm so tired and cried out. The doctor told me it would be a good idea to focus on the quality of life instead of the quantity of it. That's hard to hear. That is why it is so important that I loose this weight. It will be easier now that my stomach is back to gastoreal (spelling on that and the spell checker can't figure out what I am trying to spell) by pass surgery size, about a 2 ounce pouch, and for that I am very grateful. I haven't been able to eat a lot recently due to all these illnesses I have been dealing with. As far as I can see that is the only silver lining I've seen in all this.
I really don't know what else to say except my family is standing by me and have agreed to go on a low sodium diet with me. David, was ready to tear the kitchen apart as soon as Corey explained it all to him and Mom and donate the foods I can't eat to our local food pantry, which we will probably do tomorrow. I wasn't upstairs when Corey explained it to them. They knew we were going to Milwaukee to a hospital there to see about my hepatitis C and what could be done. I just couldn't bear to go over it again so soon. Please put me and my family on your prayer lists. I am determined I am going to try to get some normalcy back in my life by attending Sunday School again, as well as sewing guild and writing guild. I want to go, now all I need to do is get there.
I don't know much more than this right now. Once the doctor started in on the bad news I started crying and Corey took over asking the questions.
